2016年英國保守黨黨魁選舉（英語：2016 Conservative Party leadership election）緣由於2016年6月23日舉行的2016年英國脫離歐盟公投以「脫離歐盟」作結果，時任黨魁及英國首相戴维·卡梅伦其後宣布於2016年10月（或更早，若新黨魁在一個較早的日期當選）辭職所引發^[6]，選舉原定在2016年9月9日舉行^[7]。

由於保守黨現時是英國下議院的多數黨（英语：Majority government），因此獲勝者將幾乎肯定擔任首相^[8]，並出任此職至不遲於2020年5月7日舉行之下次大選，除非下議院在2011年國會固定任期法案（英语：Fixed-term Parliaments Act 2011）下投票通過決定提早解散國會或國會廢除上述法律^[9]。

大多數政治分析家對高文浩撤回支持鲍里斯·约翰逊參選保守黨黨魁，並在無任何事前通知前於6月30日提名自己出選而感到驚訝。隨後，於黨魁提名結束前幾分鐘，鲍里斯·约翰逊宣布不打算參選^[10]，雖然他在多數政治分析中持領先地位^[11]。
