生命起源 

此錶盤展示地質學時間及地球歷史事件。冥古宙40.78億前年部分為無生命時期,其餘部分體現了生命之演進。最後二百萬年的第四紀為人類時間,在圖中太短而看不到。

自然发生论,或者说生命起源[1][2][3][a],指的是自然历程中无生命物质如何演变为有机分子乃至生命的学说[4][2][5][6]
